At school i am doing electronics and this page shows you in brief my technology project for GCSE. Also the current AS project.

I am very pleased with my GCSE project. As the grade I was given was A*.

  My GCSE Burglar Alarm I desided to design make and elvaluta a out-building sucrity alarm. I did a lot of research into problems people had with shed alarms to try and make mine over come all these problems.

My Design Brief
I intent to design make and evaluate a product that will stop burglars steeling valuable items from vulnerable out- buildings. My final design should be capable of being batch produced. My final product should be marketable.

Some of the good features of the alarm

It is mains opearated with a battery backup this means it is cheep to run but still works in a power cut.
It is in two sections so the secure on/off switch canbe outside the door so no time delay is needed. But this ment that the buzzer and vittal components could be reached easly. So I placed those in the other box that can be prosisioned anywere, recomened high up or inside the shed.
It is fitted with two conbination switches giving 36 combinations making it difficult to brake the code.
It has a key switch to switch the battery off when not in uses.
The sensors have been designed to overcome the moment problem with the shed in winds.
The product is fitted with a forgetful curcuit so if the shed door is shut with out setting the alarm after 13 seconds a buzzer sounds, this can easly be switched off if not required.
It has 12 LED's to keep it bright and colourfulwhen sounding.
Three LED's are to indicate the power is these are allways on even if the alarm is not set just to act as a deterrent.

Over all the product is good but it was only a prototype made and none are yet on sale.

  The PCB PCB stands for Prited Curcuit Board. This is how the curcuit works form the components on the board.

  My AS Project I have now completed my AS project that is a green house intelligence system. Left is the breadboard for the electronic circuit. To see more about the project click on the picture.

Breadboarding is a way of testing the circuit before it is made on the PCB. It has been done above and works and then the PCB was made and also works
